A very warm welcome to our fourth cohort of Future Propulsion and Power (FPP) CDT students. Seventeen new postgraduate students started the FPP MRes programme in Cambridge, the first step of their DPhil/PhD journey. Before the start of term and teaching formally commenced we organised an induction day at the Imperial War Museum in Duxford. The day consisted of a number of outdoor team-building activities in the morning followed by time to look around the hangars in the afternoon. Despite the changeable British weather, it was a fun day out where everyone got to know each other and bond as a cohort.
We are excited to have Cohort 4 join the Turbo CDT and we wish them every success in the MRes year as they begin their journeys as research students.
